Oregon Manifest was a custom bike building competition that garnered pros from across the continent once every two years. In 2011, the student competition included teams from RISD + the Ivy League. This scrappy team from the University of Oregon won.

How might we make a bike more like a car?

  • compact frame to fit in tight urban areas + apartments or dormitories

  • lockable storage unit for lights, wallet, etc

  • tubeless tires for less maintenance + rough streets

  • retractable fenders for changing weather

  • build in lights for safety + ease of use
